About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Dive Supervisor (ADAS Qualified) to join our team in the Cairns Region.
This is a hands-on supervisory role that requires leading dive operations in the field while also contributing to the broader success of the business. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of dive projects, while also providing support across project planning and execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising safe and efficient dive operations in accordance with ADAS and company standards
- Crew coordination and scheduling
- Developing methodologies and dive work packs
- Overseeing mobilisation and demobilisation of projects
- Preparing and reviewing dive reports and associated documentation
- Supporting the Operations Manager with operational and project-related tasks
This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate looking to combine on-the-job dive supervision with broader project management and leadership responsibilities.
About the Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Australian Citizen (mandatory)
- Significant experience as a Commercial Dive Supervisor (ADAS qualified)
- Minimum Coxswain or Master 5 Certificate of Competency
- Strong knowledge of diving safety regulations, procedures, and compliance standards
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multi-skilled crews
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Current Dive Medical, First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation & Oxygen Provider
- MSIC and Nitrox endorsement (desirable)
