At Mungari
At Mungari, now with a mine life through to 2038, our people have a longer future with opportunities to grow. With underground and open pit mining, and an expansion of the processing plant completed, the operational diversity and unique work experience is great for building and uplifting careers. Located in the Western Australia Goldfields, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly out (FIFO) roster from Perth or live local and enjoy our close-knit communities and local lifestyles in Kalgoorlie.

About the role
As an Underground Nipper, you'll be a key player in our underground mining team, supporting both Development and Production cycles.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting Jumbo Operators with ground support installation
- General mine services and housekeeping
- Identifying and managing safety hazards
You'll report to the Mining Shift Supervisor and work closely with a range of stakeholders including Foremen, Superintendents, Technical Services, and Maintenance teams.
About you
You're safety-conscious, mechanically minded, and ready to make a difference underground.
What you'll bring:
- Currently located in Kalgoorlie as this is a residential role
- A valid manual Driver's Licence
- Solid understanding of safe work procedures
- Good communication and observation skills
- Ability to work a 7:7 rotating roster with 12 hour both dayshift and nightshift.
