The role:
Working full-time or part-time as an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be using your clinical expertise and skills to guide and manage your client's journey as they return to life after physical or psychological injury. You will influence your clients to achieve the results that they've identified through a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
As a Lead Consultant you would provide leadership, direction and support in workplace rehabilitation and injury management services to a portfolio of customers. In addition to the duties completed as a WorkCare Consultant, the Lead Consultant is responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to the team. Supporting business growth through service delivery expertise. Key clients or more complex cases may be assigned to this role. The position will provide specialist knowledge and the role may focus on service/product or customer management/engagement.
Core responsibilities:
- Performing vocational assessments both face to face and virtually
- Supporting clients to achieve return to work goals
- Providing non-comp or claim related psychological and psychosocial support to large corporate and Govt customers
- Managing complex psychological cases
- Use award winning psychosocial risk tools to achieve great outcomes

What we are looking for:
- Hold a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work and Psychology (Provisional and Fully Registered)
- Full registration and membership with ASORC, APHRA or AASW.
- Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment
- Have a current WWCC (Working with children check)
- Have full Australian working rights
- Hold a full drivers' license, your own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
