We are partnering with a private investment firm dedicated to advancing climate technology and decarbonisation initiatives globally. The group's mission is to invest in high-impact opportunities that deliver both superior financial performance and measurable environmental outcomes, with a focus spanning energy, transport, and industrial decarbonisation.

You'll join a small, high-calibre team of mission-driven investors who combine analytical rigour with a deep passion for advancing climate innovation and technology. The investments team is actively involved in live transactions, portfolio strategy, and investment committee processes, offering exposure across the full investment lifecycle.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to play a pivotal role in streamlining investment operations while steadily growing into a broader investment mandate. You'll dive into data to refine the systems that underpin our portfolio and support the senior investment team with due diligence, execution, and pipeline-building, giving you exposure to live deals and portfolio strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring 2–4 years' experience in investment banking, strategy, transactions, or corporate development, coupled with strong technical and financial modelling capability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage tools and automations that improve investment workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and current records for existing investments, including cap tables, shareholder agreements and KPI baselines, ensuring investment summaries are consistently updated.
  • Conduct targeted market research and provide insights to support portfolio strategy, investment committee materials and due diligence processes.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess opportunities, perform scenario analysis and inform investment decisions.
  • Take ownership of key work streams across due diligence and transaction execution
  • Contribute to pipeline development by screening opportunities, conducting preliminary reviews and drafting early-stage investment papers.
