Responsible for supervising and developing a team of four SMSF accountants and overseeing the management of 350+ SMSF funds of varying complexities.

As a SMSF Specialist with Prosperity Advisers Group, you will be responsible for supervising and developing a team of four SMSF accountants and overseeing the management of 350+ SMSF funds of varying complexities. Your role will also include:

  • Reviewing and finalising financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client base
  • Engaging with clients to resolve queries in relation to their SMSF financial statements and audit.
  • Interpreting and applying SMSF legislation to deliver personalised solutions for our clients
  • Liaising with third party auditors for the completion of the annual audit

About You

  • CA qualified with 6+ years' experience in top/mid-tier firms
  • Strong SMSF technical knowledge and the ability to interpret and apply SMSF legislation
  • Experience using Excel and cloud-based systems - CLASS is beneficial
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Well-developed time management, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team orientated environment and operate independently with limited supervision.
