As a Casual Educator, you will:
- Collaborate with and support the team in delivering our educational programs.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment at all times.
- Uphold our commitment to child safety and wellbeing in every aspect of your work.
- Provide quality care and education for the children in our service.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both children, families and colleagues.
Child Safety Commitment
We are a Child Safe Organisation. All applicants must demonstrate a strong understanding of child protection practices and be committed to safeguarding children from harm. Successful candidates will be required to:
- Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Adhere to our Child Safety Code of Conduct
- Participate in ongoing child safety training and reporting procedures
Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR, and Asthma training.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Knowledge of National Quality Standards, EYLF, and Education and Care Services National Legislation.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of families and early childhood professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A creative and dynamic personality with a passion for early childhood education.
- A team player who values and respects children at all developmental stages.
- Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in early childhood education.
