If you're looking for a role where your clinical expertise makes a lasting impact while offering both professional growth and personal fulfilment, we'd love to hear from you.

We currently have 1 FTE available and can offer a Fixed-Term Full-Time contract for five years, with the possibility of permanency.
About The Role
As a Senior Medical Practitioner in General Medicine at Kalgoorlie Health Campus, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality care to patients across the Goldfields region. Working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessment and management of inpatients, outpatients, and emergency presentations under the guidance of Consultant Physicians.

In this role, your ability to provide culturally sensitive, patient centred care will be crucial in supporting better health outcomes for this diverse community.

The position also offers the opportunity to broaden your scope of practice through outreach to other sites such as Esperance Hospital, including the use of Telehealth to support colleagues and patients in more remote locations. You will contribute to the education, training, and supervision of junior doctors, helping to build local medical workforce capacity and strengthen the standard of care across the region.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real and lasting impact on regional health while working within an engaged and collaborative team in one of Western Australia's most unique and historic settings.

Be part of a team dedicated to overcoming challenges and providing quality care to the region's residents. Want to hear more? Check out the Working in Kalgoorlie Video
