**Room Leader - Part Time permanent contract

$ $37.92 per hour (dependent on experience)

30 hours per week (6 hours per day) Monday - Friday 6.30am-8.30am & 2.30pm-6.00pm.

c-Verse Lithgow provides essential support to families in the New South Wales Blue Mountains region by offering comprehensive before and after-school care, along with vacation care for school-age children. The service is strategically located within the school grounds, ensuring convenience and accessibility for both parents and students. With a focus on providing a safe, nurturing environment, c-Verse Lithgow OSHC services aim to enhance the overall well-being and development of the children under their care, fostering a positive and enriching experience during their out-of-school hours. Our Approach:At c-Verse (children's universe), we foster exploration through various "worlds," including Nature World, STEM World, and Performance World. Children engage in diverse activities and earn cards and awards as they progress through achievement levels, unlocking new challenges using chests, maps, and keys.Successful applicant will possess:**

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Current working with children check
• A passion for early childhood education, a collaborative mindset, and a positive attitude
• Have strong communication and leadership skills
• Have at least 1 year's experience.
• Proven leadership skills with experience guiding and supporting a team of educators
• Strong knowledge of the My Time, Our Place framework and ability to deliver engaging, child-led programs
• Experience working with children with additional needs, including implementing inclusive practices and individual support strategies
• Confident in managing behaviour using positive, trauma-informed approaches
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and staff
• Well-organised with the ability to manage daily routines, documentation, and compliance requirements
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic OSHC environment, including before/after school and vacation care
