Dugald River mine is one of the world's top 10 Zinc mine operations, which has been producing zinc concentrate for customers around the world since 2017.

The mine is committed to a low-carbon future. In April 2023 the Dugald River Solar Farm began operations, supplying a third of the mine's power, and reducing emissions by 33% and this is just the start of its renewable energy transition.

Dugald River employs around 750 employees and contractors on a mix of fly-in, fly-out and local residential basis.

Auto Electrician

This role will be based on an 8/7/7/6 roster, drive in drive out (DIDO) from Cloncurry or Mt Isa or fly in fly out (FIFO) from Townsville or Brisbane.

Qualifications, skills & Experience

  • Relevant Auto Electrician Trade qualification
  • A/C licence
  • Underground mining equipment maintenance experience is preferred
  • A current C Class Licence

It would also be beneficial if you have:

  • Forklift / EWP licences
  • Automine experience

Responsibilities include

  • To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong work ethic and good safety leadership.
  • Experience in Planned and breakdown maintenance on HME operating in and underground mining environment.
  • Ability to be flexible within the role and adapt to a changing environment
  • Sound knowledge of SAP

Remuneration for this role includes a competitive salary package, annual bonus and generous local allowances for employees living in the local community of Cloncurry and Mt Isa.
