About the team
The Workplace and Infrastructure Platforms team at SEEK is central to enabling seamless connection, collaboration, and productivity for employees across the APAC region. This team is part of SEEK's broader Enterprise Technology Group and is responsible for delivering and evolving the technology platforms that underpin the employee experience.
About the role
Step into a role where your technical expertise directly impacts how Australia's most innovative job marketplace operates. As our Technology & Frontline Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to problem solver ensuring SEEK's teams have seamless technology experiences every day.
You'll tackle everything from complex system configurations to hands-on hardware deployments, working with the latest Microsoft and Apple technologies alongside cutting-edge SaaS applications. Your troubleshooting skills will be put to the test in our fast-paced environment, where every solution you deliver helps connect more people with meaningful work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Attend and manage the Tech Bar to assist users with immediate technical queries and provide in-person support for walk-up users
- Provide in-person support for office technical issues including monitors, printers, meeting room systems, and other equipment to ensure smooth office operations
- Image, setup, configure and deploy new equipment, plus provide ongoing maintenance and support for IT assets including procurement assistance
- Handle escalated technical issues from Frontline support, diagnose complex problems across various systems remotely and onsite, and escalate critical issues for prompt resolution
- Provide remote and onsite support for Office 365 applications, troubleshoot user issues, and assist with O365 functionality to enhance productivity
- Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and related security systems while collaborating with facility management
- Create, update and maintain technical knowledge articles and documentation to support Service Desk and end-users with both remote and onsite scenarios
Qualifications
Skills and experience
- Demonstrable experience in delivering exceptional customer service with superb communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven experience in Level 2 technical support or similar role with strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Systems including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Solid working knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Office 365 identity management
- Experience with both macOS and Windows operating systems
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to quickly diagnose, resolve, and escalate issues appropriately
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, deliver outcomes within deadlines, and provide empathetic service experiences
