About the role

Giannopoulos Transport is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Driver to join our growing team in Wingfield, SA. As an HC Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, safely and efficiently delivering goods across South Australia. This is a casual position with the opportunity for full-time employment.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate heavy combination vehicles, such as semi-trailers , tippers and walk-in floors to transport goods and materials
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and safety
  • Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, taking into account traffic conditions, weather, and customer requirements
  • Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients and dispatch
  • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries and vehicle maintenance

What we're looking for

  • Current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy combination vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety practices
  • Excellent driving skills and ability to manoeuvre large vehicles
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to safe work practices
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
