Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Numbers Executive Search and Recruitment Full time

Our Client

Our client is a major Australian sustainable investment organisation with significant levels of deployable funds. A Senior Associate is currently sought to join its Portfolio Management team in Brisbane.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Management and working closely with an Associate, this position supports the ongoing portfolio management of large debt investments.

You'll take responsibility for a portfolio of assets, tracking commercial performance, risk settings, operational dynamics, and sustainability outcomes.

This is a highly varied role that includes reviewing financial models, interpreting cashflows, navigating counterparty requests, preparing insights for internal committees, and working closely with Legal, Risk, Sustainability, Finance and the investment team.

As you develop, you'll become the point of contact who understands how each transaction behaves and what needs attention.

The environment suits someone who is commercially sharp, curious, and calm under pressure — someone who enjoys solving problems, managing stakeholders and using good judgement to keep things moving.

About You

You'll be degree-qualified (Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business or Law) with 4–6+ years of relevant experience in asset management, project finance, credit risk, banking, or investment management. Roles where you've worked on business or institutional-grade debt portfolios or have developed strong credit skills will be looked upon favourably.

You're comfortable reading and interpreting financial models, understanding covenants and cashflow drivers, and working with loan or project finance documentation.

Equally important is your ability to communicate clearly, organise competing priorities and maintain productive relationships with counterparties, advisers and internal teams. If you enjoy a mix of analysis, stakeholder management and practical problem-solving, you'll fit well here.

To Apply

If you're motivated by complex commercial transactions and want a role where your work genuinely shapes how large-scale investments perform over time, we'd love to hear from you.

Please direct your application to Numbers Executive Search & Recruitment.

**Please note we require applicants to be Australian Permanent Residents to apply.
