You are a motivated individual who manages their time effectively.

You are reliable and have a good knowledge of occupational health & safety and hazard identification in the workplace.

The successful applicant will have a solid background in heavy plant/vehicle operations in the landfilling and resource recovery industry. You are flexible and not afraid to get your hands dirty and will be able to work in a small dedicated team performing an essential service in the Southern Downs region. You are an excellent communicator with both internal and external stakeholders and strive to achieve customer satisfaction.

You will be working with a safe and reliable fleet. We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

ABOUT YOU

• 3rd party RTO competencies for at least two of the following:
  Skid steer/track Loaders, excavators, landfill compactors, Backhoe or front-end loaders.

• HR driver's license.

• Landfill operations experience

• Experience and fitness for hands on physically demanding duties

• Be available to work overtime when required

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Ability to direct and lead a small dedicated team

• Ability to complete and submit electronic paperwork, checks and reports as required

• Experience in the management of site license conditions, implementation of filling plans and environmental systems highly advantageous

• A proven safety record and knowledge of safety systems and procedures.

• Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
