Our Offer:
We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This key client-facing role involves managing client orders and coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of materials and information across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for client orders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehousing teams to manage order flow from start to finish.
- Track and follow up on the delivery of client-supplied packaging and components, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled production.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to order raw materials, communicating directly with suppliers to ensure alignment with production schedules and lead times.
- Provide clients with regular updates on production timelines, proactively managing expectations and resolving supply chain bottlenecks.
- Assist in forecasting demand to align procurement and production schedules.
- Maintain accurate order and inventory records within our ERP systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for supply chain processes and client communication standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain, cosmetic chemistry, or production planning roles.
- Experience in FMCG or contract manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with a strong attention to detail.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external suppliers.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.
