The Opportunity

As Crew Leader Works, you will:

  • Lead a small crew in the delivery of road, drainage and footpath maintenance and construction

  • Operate plant and equipment including skid steers, rollers and tipper trucks

  • Monitor worksite safety and quality, and maintain records for site reporting and materials

  • Interpret plans, set levels, and ensure each job meets City standards

  • Support the Supervisor Works with job setup, resource coordination and site readiness

This is a practical field-based role with responsibility for daily site leadership and on-the-job coaching of your crew.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in road, drainage and path construction or maintenance

  • The ability to lead a small crew and communicate clearly on site

  • Understand WHS and traffic management obligations

  • Hold a current HR licence, White Card and Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) accreditation

  • The ability to read plans and use survey tools like laser levels

A Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction and experience using mobile work order systems will be highly regarded.

  • Level 4 salary of $85,560 + super
