About the role

Method Therapy Services' is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland. This is a part-time opportunity to work within our progressive and supportive healthcare organisation, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
  • Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans to help clients achieve their functional goals
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and community integration
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and outcome measurement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team
  • Passion for empowering clients to achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to the growth and development of the team
