About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking expressions of interest from skilled and safety-focused Offshore Technicians to join our high-performing teams on major shutdowns in 2026. Offshore Technicians play a critical role in supporting a variety of scopes, including tank cleaning, general manual handling, mechanical works, decontamination and chemical cleaning. This hands-on role requires experience working safely in offshore environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across remote locations.

Point of hire: Perth (WA), Adelaide (SA), Melbourne (VIC), Sydney (NSW), Canberra (ACT), Brisbane (QLD), Darwin (NT), and Hobart (TAS)

Duties will include but not be limited to

  • General manual labouring duties
  • High Pressure Water Blasting
  • Tank and Chemical cleaning
  • In-situ cleaning, including inside confined spaces
  • Confined space entry and sentry duties
  • Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety, including participation in safety documentation requirements
  • Ability to work effectively within a team while also being capable of working unsupervised
  • Supporting other crews and assisting wherever the team requires
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills

Requirements & Experience Needed:

  • 2+ years of experience working on offshore facilities
  • Experience in chemical cleaning/decontamination, pipeline testing, or Nitrogen Services (Highly regarded)
  • 2+ years of relevant oil and gas experience or related industry
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting (Advantageous)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience (highly regarded)
  • Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Working Safely at Heights certificate (within 2 years - essential)
  • Enter & Work in a Confined Space certificate (within 2 years - essential)
  • Gas Test Atmosphere certificate (within 2 years – essential)
  • Breathing Apparatus certificate (within 2 years – essential)
  • BOSIET, CA-EBS (essential)
  • MSIC (Job ready)
  • Police Clearance (within 12 months)
  • Ability to work within a team and unsupervised
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • High Risk Work License – LF/Dogman/Rigger (Advantageous)
  • Full Australian work rights
