Our Seniors Living services are connected and offer a continuum of care to people living across our seven large, active, vibrant, retirement living estates with individualised care and services provided through our in-home care and service provider, RAAFA Connect or stay in one of our five warm and welcoming residential aged care homes.

Support our residents at RAAFA's Erskine Grove as a Retirement Wellbeing Officer. Working on a permanent full-time basis, join the team in delivering information, support and guidance to our amazing residents.

About the Role:

  • Assist residents to link to support services whilst encouraging independence and choice;
  • Lead and participate in projects related to resident well-being;
  • Encourage programs which help promote health, wellbeing and the active lives of residents;
  • Consult with residents and their representatives to identify and develop strategies to deal with concerns;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure residents are supported as their needs change;
  • Respond to resident duress calls where required during office hours, taking action as required and record actions taken;
  • Responsibility to comply with all RAAFA Policies and Procedures and all reasonable management directions.

About You:

  • Understanding of Active Ageing and history of applying this to previous roles;
  • Demonstrated ability to assess residents' care and well-being requirements and to prioritise effectively;
  • Experience in conflict resolution and well-developed problem-solving skills;
  • Awareness of issues related to Aged Care with appropriate advocacy and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience;
  • National "C" Class Driver's Licence.
