About the role
In your role as a Junior Sales Consultant/ Junior Investment Adviser you will operate from a script to provide information and advice on the various capital raising campaigns to existing shareholders and potential investors of companies we represent. Inform the client of the opportunity, invite them to investor briefings, quality their interest with internal team and facilitate introductions to Senior Sales Consultants where appropriate.
Qualification in Commerce/Finance/Banking will serve you well. We need someone withpassion and determination to work in Sales, as well asa keen interest and awareness and understanding of the corporate finance space is required. This is a great opportunity to enter, build and cement your career in the financial services industry. You will join a team of Investment Consultants as a junior member of our Sales team with full administration support.
Duties
- You will be making well qualified outbound calls so your ability to communicate effectively and work hard is essential to your success
- Provide investment information to our clients
- Build effective rapport and relationships with our clients
- Work both autonomously and as part of a dedicated team of more senior consultants
- Respond to ad hoc requests from clients
Skills & Experience
- Sales experience or very strong communication skills
- Ability and aptitude to sell to sophisticated clients
- Proven long term commitment to a role
- University qualification or undertaking one
- Strong interest in Finance
- Strong communication skills; natural ability to engage and build rapport
- Right to work in Australia
- Ideally you have studied and graduated from a Commerce/Finance/Business Degree
