We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicatedJapanese Teacher to join our Languages team.

  • Fixed Term,20 October – 8 December 2025
  • 0.73 FTE
  • Years 8–11

This role is central to fostering a love of language and culture, while supporting students to develop the skills and confidence to engage in an interconnected world.

ABOUT YOU

As a Classroom Teacher at Sacred Heart College, you bring a passion for learning and a commitment to nurturing the whole student.   • Designing and delivering engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning experiences
  • Using student data to guide planning, assessment and teaching practice
  • Embedding digital learning technologies and contemporary pedagogies to enhance learning
  • Supporting the development and wellbeing of the whole student
  • Building strong partnerships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Participating in co-curricular activities and College events
  • Embracing professional learning and reflection as part of your practice

You will also:

  • Hold current VIT registration
  • Ideally, have accreditation to teach in a Catholic school and/or to teach Religious Education (please indicate in your application if applicable)

CLASSIFICATION

This position is covered under the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022, Teacher Salary, T1-1 to 2-6.
