We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join our Bowen team. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys meaningful work, takes pride in high standards, and wants to make a positive difference in people's lives.
About the Role
As a Cleaner with Stella Life, you will work in clients' homes to deliver a high standard of domestic support. You'll work both independently and alongside other team members to ensure every client is treated with dignity and respect.
Your duties will include:
- General domestic cleaning (surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, floors)
- Making beds and changing linen
- Laundry support including washing, ironing and folding
- Completing basic documentation and administrative tasks relevant to the role
This is a varied role with regular hours and the support of a friendly, local team.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous household or commercial cleaning experience (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and follow schedules
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Good time management and reliability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
- High level written and verbal English skills
Mandatory Requirements (or willingness to obtain):
- Current Queensland Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
An understanding of the needs of older people and people with disabilities in home or community settings will be highly regarded.
