Financial Controller
to join our team of go-getters and realise the full value of their skills
What You'll Do
- Own all statutory financial reporting and ensure compliance across Australia and international markets
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and quarterly/annual ASX reporting
- Lead external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors
- Maintain strong financial controls and oversee daily accounting operations
- Drive payroll and procurement processes in line with company policies
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow, hedging, and banking relationships
- Implement and improve finance systems, automation, and ERP administration
- Develop financial policies and continuously improve governance and operations
- Build and lead a high-performing Risk & Compliance (R&C) team
- Partner across the business to provide insights, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to ad hoc projects
What It Takes To Be Successful In This Role
- CA qualified with 7+ years post-qualification experience, ideally Big 4 trained
- Proven track record in ASX financial reporting and technical accounting
- Strong knowledge of tax, compliance, internal controls, and governance
- Skilled in finance operations with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experienced with financial systems (ideally Netsuite) and system implementations
- Commercially minded with the ability to drive performance and strategic decisions
- Strong leadership skills with experience building high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all levels
- Highly organised with strong project and time management abilities
- Resilient, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a growth and innovation mindset
