Help shape the future of AI in the public sector. We're seeking an experienced
Product Owner - Artificial Intelligence
to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered products that deliver real value to the community.

In this role, you'll define the vision for AI solutions, prioritise features, and ensure the delivery of user-focused, impactful products. You'll work closely with AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps Engineers, acting as the bridge between technical teams, policy makers, and end-users. Your work will drive innovation while ensuring ethical, transparent, and responsible AI implementation.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Proven experience in product management, delivering products from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML capabilities and limitations.
  • Strong focus on user experience and delivering intuitive, impactful solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to define and measure both business value and societal outcomes.
  • Experience in agile delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex public sector challenges into actionable AI initiatives.
  • Passion for public service and ethical AI development.
  • Relevant formal qualifications in technology, product management, or related disciplines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Criminal History Check (and other clearances as required).
