About Us

We are a specialist Building Security Integrator, helping businesses design and implement tailored security solutions including Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, and other security technologies. We are seeking a Junior Estimator with experience in the security or related building services industry to support our growing projects.

About the Role

As a Junior Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting our project and estimating team. Your work will involve preparing take-offs, assisting with ITPs, and managing project documentation. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in security systems or electrical estimating, looking to grow within a fast-paced and innovative business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed take-offs from security system drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing ITPs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support the team with project documentation including registers, compliance reports, and system manuals.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy of information.
  • Assist with tender submissions and project proposals.
  • Maintain well-organised and accurate project files.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating or project support within security systems, electrical, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Intruder Alarms, and related technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret security/electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and exposure to estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam).
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
