Bindery Assistant/ Feeder Packer

STOCKDALE PERSONNEL/ FINDSTAFF ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING EXPERIENCED FEEDER PACKERS AND BINDERY ASSISTANTS FOR OPPORTUNITIES WITH ONE OF OUR CLIENTS AT REGENTS PARK SYDNEY NSW.

Feeder packers / Glue line assistants responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Feeding flat cartons into gluing machine ensuring machine is continually fed with minimal downtime.

  • Where possible assist in make-ready and maintenance of machinery.

  • Identifying damaged or waste cartons.

  • Assist the operator as part of a team to keep the machine running at optimum speeds.

  • Packing or stacking down the finished cartons.

  • Quality control while machine is running.

  • Ensuring packed cartons are stacked neatly and general housekeeping duties.

  • Working within a food safe environment.

  • Conduct yourself in a safe manner adhering to all safety instructions and OH&S regulations.

  • Safety shoes and hi vis essential.

Rates between $31.00 and $35.00 per hour depending on shift pattern.

Shifts available Dayshift 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday ongoing work for those who demonstrate reliability.
