Essential Criteria

• Commitment to ensuring people's safety and effective crisis management skills.
• Strong time and resource management skills in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Personal initiative and accountability with a willingness to learn and improve continuously.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in responding to and documenting crisis management and security incidents.
• Leadership skills and initiative during crisis situations.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competence in investigating incidents and producing accurate, timely reports.
• Knowledge of fire and security systems (highly desirable).

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the site and team.
• Proactively contribute to the delivery of core mission areas.
• Maintain a high level of understanding of building and security systems and firm processes.
• Conduct daily systems checks, manage issue trackers, and troubleshoot infrastructure.
• Participate in and support SOP training and drills to the highest standards.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Optimize manpower use through efficient rostering, expense tracking, and leave management.
• Manage competing tasks with initiative and timeliness.
• Communicate clearly and transparently.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to personnel development.

Position Requirements

The Controller is required to hold and maintain:

• Certificate II in Security Operations.
• Current NSW Security Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Background Clearance, including financial, employment, residential, identification, and criminal history checks.
