Duty Manager

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team. Reporting directly to the Rooms Division Manager you will provide exceptional service to all our guests. As a front office professional, you will have the knowledge and experience to guide and assist the front office team to excellence, whilst maintaining the hotels standards.

Oversee the daily Front Office operations, including guest arrivals and departures ensuring correct procedures are followed

Handle guest enquiries, request, and complaints, with professionalism and care

Support other departments in the absence of their managers, ensuring smooth day to day operations across the resort

Support and resolve any operational or maintenance issues that may arise during the shift

Monitor the daily financial transactions including cash handling and billing

Assist in training and developing the team to deliver service excellence

Ensure adherence to all resort policies, procedures, and standards to maintain quality at every touchpoint

Skills and Experiences:

Previous Front Office or Duty Manager experience in a hotel or resort environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach

Strong leadership skills with ability to drive and lead

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong knowledge of resort operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Guest Services

Excellent problem solving abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Working knowledge with OPERA would be an advantage

Impeccable grooming and presentation

Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends

Must be eligible to work in Australia
