Hagstrom Drilling is a family-owned Drilling Company that has been operating across Australasia for over thirty years

Due to internal promotion of existing staff and significant new long-term projects we are recruiting Diamond Drillers to work with our existing team on projects nationwide.

ABOUT THE JOB

This is a permanent, full-time FIFO role on a 2/1 or 2/2 roster depending on the site from Perth. You will be working as part of a great team on 12-hour shifts on work sites within Western Australia.

ESSENTIAL KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence or above
  • Cert III/IV in Drilling operations
  • White Card
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Current 4WD certification
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or able to obtain on request)
  • Ability to adhere strictly to Hagstrom Drilling's Safe Work Policies and Procedures
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen

SKILLS AND TRAINING TO BE CONSIDERED

  • Experience in Diamond Drilling Techniques (LF160, DE710/12, UDR, and EDM)
  • Orientation/Survey tool usage
  • Directional and large diameter drilling
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and enjoy learning new skills
  • Enjoy working outdoors, in a team-focused environment
  • Strong leadership, training/mentoring and communication skills
  • Strong OHS awareness & work ethic
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment safely & efficiently
