We're looking for a passionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to join our Food Truck team, helping our participants gain valuable skills, build confidence, and have fun while serving the community.

About the Role:

In this unique position, you'll be supporting NDIS participants as they work in our food truck, preparing and serving food and drinks, handling customer service, and assisting with cleaning and safe food practices. You'll play a key role in guiding and encouraging participants while ensuring a safe and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support to participants while they cook, serve, and clean.
  • Promote skill development in food preparation, customer service, and teamwork.
  • Ensure safety, hygiene, and food handling standards are met.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Assist in setting up and packing down the food truck.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as a support worker, preferably with NDIS participants.
  • Knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices (Food Safety Certificate desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping people grow.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Current Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current driver's licence (preferred).
