Haynes Australia is an established Automotive Data Solutions provider. For the past few years, the business has consistently delivered double digit year-on year growth.

In 2020, the Haynes Group was acquired by Infopro Digital as part of a larger strategic plan to become a global leader within the automotive data market.

Haynes Australia is looking for an ambitious, experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our sales team. It is an exciting time to join the organisation as you will be instrumental in driving new business growth and expansion.

This is a newly created senior role with a focus on developing high value new business opportunities through the sale of our datasets.

The position will suit an established professional with a proven record of securing new customers and revenues. The right candidate will be someone who understands the importance of collaboration, ownership, integrity and excellent customer service.

What the role involves

Responsible for delivering a pure growth model of high value new business by actively identifying, hunting and acquiring new opportunities within the Australian market
Working closely with the Australian Managing Director and Infopro Digital Automotive executive team to develop and implement challenging but achievable sales and marketing strategies for the Austral territory
Identifying key stakeholders within potential new customers and building long lasting relationships
Attending conferences, trade shows and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
Development and delivery of professional proposals and presentations
Delivery of formal account management programs
Develop realistic revenue and expense budgets and forecasts with P&L responsibility

Requirements

Ideally you will have prior experience in a senior position within the automotive industry:

A sound understanding of the automotive repair and aftermarket or Automotive Lubricants industry
Proven track record of success in delivering high value new business
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations)
Outstanding customer relationship skills
High level of computer literacy
First class planning, organisational and administrative skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels (with a focus on senior management decision makers) in a wide range of organisations
Demonstrable track record of national and major customer business development and relationship management with P&L responsibility
Experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning and a thorough understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes
