The medical centre operates during the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am to 12:00pm

This role is based at HelloDR Blackstone, a DPA location in Ipswich, Queensland.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a General Practitioner (GP), you will provide comprehensive, patient-centred medical care to individuals, families, and communities. This role involves delivering a broad range of health services, from preventative care and health promotion to diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of various medical conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough patient consultations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations
• Diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of acute and chronic health issues
• Prescribing and administering appropriate medications and treatments
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date medical records and clinical documentation
• Supporting patient education and promoting healthy lifestyle choices

You will play a critical role in the ongoing health and wellbeing of your patients, often serving as their first point of contact within the healthcare system.

INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL GRADUATES (IMGs)

We welcome applications from International Medical Graduates with the following:

• General, Provisional, or Limited Registration
• Eligibility for supervised practice under AHPRA requirements
• Level 1–4 Supervision arrangements available in accordance with AHPRA requirements, supported by experienced VR GPs and Clinical Supervisors
• DPA/MM1 location – suitable for 19AB exemptions
• Level 1–4 Supervision available onsite
• Support provided for SPPA-30 (Supervised Practice Plan) and DFLP-00
• Experienced Fellows available for mentoring and clinical supervision
• 482 Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
