Welcome to Kraftur, where we do things differently.
If you're reading this there's probably something that isn't working for you where you are.
Or maybe you've taken a break and you're looking for your next challenge.
Whatever it is, we know you're probably NOT looking for 'a job'.
You've got experience, energy and ideas and you want to join a team where you'll be valued, get a chance to leverage your strengths and create momentum while being able to enjoy going to work.
No job is for everyone, it's all about fit.
So, as you're reading through this ad, if it's not really interesting, it's probably best you keep looking for what lights you up. No hard feelings.
But, if you find yourself glued to the screen as you read, and you feel like this could be the job you've been looking for, then we can't wait to hear from you.
Who we are, what do we do and why it matters
We deliver a distinct concrete advantage by providing industry leadership of people and using technology to produce excellence in concrete construction of industrial, civil pavements and major concrete projects
The Kraftur team aims to set a new benchmark in concrete construction.
Our icon is a K redesigned to look like the benchmark symbol. The term benchmark came from the chiselled horizontal marks that ancient surveyors made in stone structures that formed a "bench" for accurate measurements across the site.
We live by our Core Values of Commitment, Mateship, Positive Leadership & being a Loyal Team Player and strive to have a culture that is best in industry.
Kraftur means strength in Icelandic, it describes our team and the results we deliver as a result of our continued investment in our team and technology.
This allows us to deliver concrete advantages, like:
- Flatter floors
- Faster projects
- Better quality
- Reduced waste
- Safer worksites
Our hard work helps contractors to deliver great projects to their clients. We see ourselves as facilitators of their success. Doing what we do the way we do it means that everyone on our team has a sense of pride in their work, and because we're in demand we can ensure we select great clients and projects.
We pursue Leadership, Technology and Excellence. Not what you would expect as the goals of a concreting contractor and that's what makes us different.
What's in it for you?
- A job where your ideas are welcome but where you'll also get the support and mentoring you need to succeed.
- A chance to leverage the reputation of Kraftur's strong brand in the market to create personal and business success.
- A sense of fulfilment knowing you're part of a team that delivers great value to clients and is raising the bar in the industry for everyone's benefit.
Who would be a great fit in this role?
We're trying not to make assumptions about the kind of person who might be great in this role, but here's some of what we think describes you if you're the HSE Advisor we're looking for:
- You consider yourself relaxed yet professional
- You have experience working alongside project managers, site leaders, employees and subcontractors
- You're as comfortable talking to Clients as you are talking to concreters
- You're an effective communicator, in person, in emails and on the phone
- You're grounded and confident in your abilities but don't have a chip on your shoulder
- You're a Multi Tasker
- You've worked in a Construction Environment
- You're confident building relationships with various stakeholders as well as key members of the operations team
- You're happy to put on a hard-hat and walk the sites of projects in progress to make sure you know exactly what's going on
- You're an opportunistic kind of thinker, always thinking about how to make things happen, or how to optimise and leverage the resources you have
- You're enthusiastic about applying your strengths and experience to a role where you'll genuinely have the chance to achieve both results for the business and rewards for yourself
