The company

JBuild Carpentry is a Sydney based carpentry business with over 20 years of experience within the residential construction industry. We aim to tackle all aspects of carpentry within the industry and believe that no project is too big or small for our experience. We have been providing a vast array of services throughout the past 25 years, which include house renovations and extensions, deckings, pergolas, structural framing all the way through to any maintenance works.

About the role (ready for immediate start)

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter (qualified or apprentice) to join our team. As a Carpenter at JBuild, your responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Execute all aspects of carpentry work, including but not limited to house renovations and extensions, decking, pergolas, timber flooring, structural framing, fencing & residential construction.
  • Execute premium-quality finish and fit-out work with exceptional precision and craftsmanship.
  • Analyse and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and plans to ensure alignment with project specifications
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings and blueprints is required to accurately interpret project specifications.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, meets specified standards, and is completed within established timelines
  • Maintain a clean, organised work environment in full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

About you

Proven carpentry/labour experience required (Apprentices will be considered for the right candidate)

Minimum 1-2 years of carpentry experience is required for this position.

Must have own transport & basic tools

White card

Right to work in Australia

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail.
