Attractions that are located close to the hotel include the iconic Castle Hill, Townsville Civic Centre, James Cook University, The Base Hospital, the SeaLink Ferry Terminal to Magnetic Island and The Strand (Townsville's dining, shopping and entertainment precinct)

We have an opportunity available for a Room Attendant to join its team on a Casual basis working up varied hours week to week.

The Role

Quest Townsville on Eyre housekeepers are highly valued members of our teams, and key to ensuring positive experiences for our guests and the overall success of the business.

In particular, the role involves providing housekeeping and room attendant services for apartments (studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom apartments) and cleaning common areas to ensure high standards of presentation of the property in line with the Quest brand standards, and efficient operations based on occupancy demands and guest needs.

The Ideal Candidate

Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills, a friendly customer service demeanor, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, discretion in guest interaction, and a strong appreciation for workplace safety. An ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and team goals is key.

Prior experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role ideally in a business environment is not essential, however qualifications and prior experience in cleaning as well as the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
