Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist located in Geelong and Melbourne VIC. The Occupational Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety policies, conducting safety audits, developing safe work method statements, risk assessments and ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations. Daily tasks include inspecting worksites, investigating incidents and document development

Qualifications

  • Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills
  • Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Workplace Safety
  • Skills in Safety Training and developing safety programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Cert 4 or higher in OHS
  • Certifications in relevant safety standards and regulations are a plus
