We're looking for a passionate Part Time Early Childhood Teacher who's ready to make an impact every single day to the learning journeys of all children.

Where you'll work

Avoca Preschool is nestled in a close-knit rural setting where community connections and the wellbeing of children are primary factors to the delivery of high-quality education and care. We are looking for educators who enjoy the challenge of working with smaller groups to promote positive and rewarding learning journeys for all children.

Role Details:

Early Childhood Teacher

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – 9:00am to 2:00pm

15 contact hours + 7.5 non-contact hours = 22.5 hours per week

What You'll Do

In this hands-on, rewarding role, you'll:

  • Create engaging, play-based programs that spark curiosity and creativity

  • Build strong relationships with families, children, and your teaching team

  • Support and guide educators to deliver meaningful learning experiences

  • Champion child safety, inclusion, and well-being in everything you do

What You'll Bring

  • Early Childhood Registration with VIT and recognised Early Childhood Teacher qualification

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
