The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $155,000 per year. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks during the calendar year and December wellness/shutdown week for applicable positions.

Summary

The Senior Finance Manager will be a key member of the Finance team, responsible for the financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis of a diverse portfolio of brands. This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, business analysis, and systems applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and delivering insightful financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to executive leadership.  They will possess excellent analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.  This position will report to the Director of Financial Reporting and Consolidation.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process for a portfolio of brands, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for budget and month end close.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly management reporting packages that include full Brand P&Ls.
  • Create insightful and visually compelling presentations for C-level executives, summarizing financial performance, highlighting key business drivers, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with brand finance teams to understand business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to provide business insights and support decision-making.
  • Lead the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial consolidation and reporting process.
  • Assist with the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting process for the brand portfolio including overseeing and communicating key milestones.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from executive leadership.

Process Improvement & Systems Integration

  • Support continuous improvement in planning processes through automation tools or process re-engineering efforts.
  • Champion the implementation and integration of new FP&A systems to enhance data quality and efficient analysis.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Proven experience building and delivering reports, dashboards, and presentations to C-level executives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable business insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Anaplan, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a multi-brand organization is a plus.
  • Must work well in a fast paced, team-oriented, and dynamic environment.
