Temporary part-time and Casual.
From – 24hrs -32hrs per week.
24 hour rotating roster Monday-Friday.

We are seeking Child and Family Health Nurses, Registered Nurses and/or Registered Midwives for multiple positions available at our Early Parenting Service located at Campbelltown. If you have completed, commenced or intending to commence a post graduate qualification in Child and Family Health Nursing this opportunity is for you. You will join a wonderful and diverse multidisciplinary team that love the work that they do in partnership with parents to build and strengthen family relationships in the First 2000 days.

Karitane is a not-for-profit early parenting organisation within NSW that supports families, builds parenting capacity, enhances parent child relationships and strengthens a family's connections through supports in their community.
SUMMARY ROLE AND FUNCTION
Karitane staff provide safe, effective, quality care consistent with the organisation's mission, philosophy, values and standards of care, and adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct.
Professional practice must reflect adherence to agreed professional standards and be responsible for the delivery of clinical services under the supervision of the Manager.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: (Each criteria must be addressed in your application)
Essential for this role are the following:
Current NSW Registration Nurse or Midwife (NSW) List A
Child and Family Health Nursing Qualification or working towards.
Demonstrated experience in Child and Family Health/Midwifery/Paediatrics or equivalent with an understanding of current evidence informed practice.
Demonstrated advanced communication skills in mixed modalities e.g. inpatient and outpatient/virtual services.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated advanced computer skills and data collection systems and practices.
Demonstrated ability to work in partnership and deliver customer-centric care.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Part-time, and casual employment status of this role is in accordance with the Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Nurses Agreement 1997. Shift times and days may be varied according to the needs of the organisation. Karitane services are provided at a number of sites within the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
The majority of Karitane's services close for approximately two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, during which time employees are required to take leave.

Please note: If you work in the NSW Public Health system and other Affiliated Health Organisations your accruals of leave and service can be transferred across to Karitane.
