Our Mackay workshop is in high demand from Tier 1 mining clients and we're looking to recruit Boilermakers. Your role will include a variety of fabrication and repair projects from heavy mining equipment components to general light and medium fabrication work.

Role requirements:

  • Structural repairs and fabrication on heavy mining and civil equipment
  • Light to medium fabrication
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and fabrication plans
  • Gouging, cutting, measuring and fit-up work
  • Assisting with workshop maintenance and general fabrication duties
  • Adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and QA requirements
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Able to supply clean D&A upon request
  • Must be an Australian resident

Applicants to provide:

  • Trade qualified Boilermaker
  • Proven experience in heavy fabrication or mining equipment repair
  • Experience in both heavy plate and structural steel fabrication
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Current Forklift, EWP or working at heights tickets
  • Current drivers' license – essential
