Role Description/Criteria

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School is searching for passionate educators experienced in, or eager to explore, the Science of Learning. Our school is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and social and emotional wellbeing in our students.

  • an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
  • an understanding and demonstrated use of evidence based best practice, particularly a strong understanding of the Science of Learning
  • a capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching
  • an understanding and experience with PBL (an advantage)
  • the ability to collaborate, support and contribute to the building of a professional learning culture
  • the willingness to adhere to St Francis of Assisi's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359
  • a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
