About The Opportunity
A Medical Radiation Scientist at this level is expected to assume a responsible role in performing all aspects of radiographic imaging.

Role
This position plays a key role encompassing the optimal service provision of high quality imaging in general and emergency trauma radiography.In this role you will:

• Deliver high quality imaging in general and emergency trauma radiography, intra-operative image intensification, mobile radiography, dental and BMD imaging, digital screening, CT, DSA and other services in a PACS environment.
• Participate in the development and upgrading of clinical protocols and techniques.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical procedures.
• Communicate and demonstrate commitment to team building, quality assurance and high standards of patient care are expected.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:

• Qualifications, licensure and registration with appropriate authorities including: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Science) or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) or qualifications deemed equivalent by CCLHD.
• A high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high level of competency and consistently high standard of clinical practice and decision making.
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• A good level of computer literacy, including familiarity with RIS/PACS systems.
