Manager / Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance

We're adding experienced Audit professionals at Assistant Manager and Manager level to support a diverse portfolio across NFPs, large proprietary, listed and commercial clients.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end audit engagements for clients: planning, risk assessment, testing and completion in line with ASA requirements.
  • Review and prepare financial statements under the applicable AASB and reporting frameworks.
  • Coach and review the work of junior team members; set job budgets, monitor KPIs and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Build trusted client relationships, communicate findings and value-adding recommendations, and contribute to proposals/repeat work.
  • Get exposure to non-audit advisory (due diligence, internal control improvements, and project-based assignments).
  • Use and improve firm systems and methodologies (e.g., CaseWare, Xero) and stay current with evolving standards.

What you'll bring

Must have: Australian audit experience with Australian clients.

  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Assistant Manager: 4+ years' of experience, proven delegation/review experience.
  • Manager: 5+ years' audit experience with recent team leadership and portfolio oversight
  • Strong technical grounding in ASA/AASB, excellent workpaper discipline, and a practical, client-centred approach.
  • Clear, confident communication and a collaborative style - able to mentor, lift standards and deliver calmly under deadlines.
