About the Role:

As the Front Office Team Leader at Rydges Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office department. This includes overseeing daily activities, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining the highest standards of guest service. You will be responsible for supervising and training front office staff to meet Rydges' service expectations, while fostering effective communication across departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead and support front office team operations

•    Ensure smooth check-in/check-out for guests and groups

•    Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally

•    Coordinate with Reservations, Sales & Housekeeping

•    Monitor room allocations, bookings & availability

•    Maintain accurate guest records and financials

•    Promote Rydges Priority Membership program

•    Manage shift handovers and staff schedulin

Skills & Experience:

•    Strong leadership and team management abilities

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•    Proficiency in hotel reservation and front office systems

•    High attention to detail and organizational skills

•    Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy

•    Financial acumen for float balancing and ledger reviews

•    Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service

•    Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

•    Knowledge of Rydges brand standards and service culture
