We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Transaction Accounts (internally known as Product Area Lead, Transaction Accounts) to lead the strategy, performance, and delivery of ING's savings and superannuation portfolios. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L accountability (shared with PAL Pricing & Performance), responsible for acquisition, retention, product governance, and compliance.
What you'll do
- Lead agile squads and foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
- Shape and execute a customer-centric product strategy and roadmap.
- Drive acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies across transaction accounts.
- Ensure product governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless customer journeys and innovative solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
What we're looking for
- 15+ years' experience in product management, strategy, and delivery within financial services.
- Proven leadership capability and a passion for coaching and team development.
- Proven financial acumen and experience with P&L ownership.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or Commerce.
- Postgraduate qualifications desirable
- Expertise in agile ways of working and stakeholder engagement.
- A customer-obsessed mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
