Supermarket Checkout Operators/Supervisor

We are seeking reliable, committed and flexible Team Members to assist us with checkout operations. You will be expected to operate on the checkout independently serving customers and if you are suitably qualified you may also be responsible for supervising the checkout team members working at the supermarket.

This role is for morning/afternoon/evenings till close and will entail regular shifts.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

• A willingness to learn
• Ability to work with a close team and autonomously
• Good attitude and attention to detail
• Reliable
• Strong communication skills
• Merchandising experience is preferred but not essential
• Careful transactional handling of money and other forms of payment

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Operating POS on checkouts
• Handling of floats and change
• Merchandising / Shelf filling grocery products when required
• Maintaining ticketing standards
• Code checking
• Temperature checks when required
• End of day close and finalisation daily POS financial reports
