At YAY Today, we believe great support starts with empathy, professionalism, and heart. We're looking for a positive, energetic, and emotionally aware female Support Worker to join our YAY Today team.

This role involves working in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment. We're seeking someone who can bring warmth, confidence, and resilience, handle sensitive situations with calm, and maintain professionalism even under pressure.

What you'll support with:

  • Daily living assistance, community access, and personal care
  • Promoting independence and meaningful engagement
  • Supporting emotional regulation and safe participation in activities

About you:

  • Female only
  • Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with ASD, Intellectual Disability, BPD, Depression, or Anxiety
  • Skilled in managing behaviours of concern with empathy and composure
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Patient, reliable, and proactive — with a naturally uplifting and encouraging approach
  • Must have NDIS Check, Work With Children Check, Driver's Licence & Car.
  • Candidates must obtain Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Check before commencing employment
