We create individually tailored employment opportunities for people living with all types of disability and experiencing barriers to employment, to discover their potential and enhance their lives. We provide training and support for both supported employment and mainstream employment opportunities, so that individuals can feel purpose, pride and belonging through employment.
Primary Objectives
• Provide support to individuals with a disability to develop necessary skills for employment.
• Provide a safe and supportive workplace for individuals to learn and grow.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute solutions and ideas the betterment of the team and company.
Additional Objectives
• Understanding and adherence to NDIS Practice Standards & Code of Conduct
• Contribute to Workplace Health & Safety Practices and Processes
• Other reasonable duties and tasks as directed by manager. (including but not limited to; running & developing training programs, projects as assigned, Work trials, onboarding, attending functions to represent company – expos, ERC, OHS Committee, Work experience)

Work Experience, Commercial Skills, and Qualifications
• Formal qualifications in disability, community services, aged care, social work, or related field. (Cert III or above desirable)
• Experience working with people with disabilities or related field (essential)
• NDIS Screening Check
• Current Level 2 First Aid qualifications (or willingness to undertake).
• Mental Health First Aid (desired but not mandatory)
• Competency in MS Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and various other software applications).

• Lived experience in the area of disability or mental health.
• Bring a curious, innovative mind, with a continuous improvement approach to enhancing efficiency.
• Focussed on solutions and positive outcomes.
• Empathetic and respectful management of conflict and adept at having difficult conversations.
• Value diversity and build inclusive environments where people experience `belonging'.
• Relationship building and maintenance skills – ability to interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
• Demonstrated history of accountability
• Working knowledge of Disability Services Standards and NDIS practice standards and code of conduct
• Demonstrated people management skills, particularly those relevant to assisting people with disabilities and those who work with them.
• A person who looks at creating solutions and working collaboratively.
• Ability to market and promote geared around the recruitment of employees with disabilities.
Ability to manage through the complexity that our guiding principle brings "meeting our social mission is as important as being commercial".
