Factory Supervisor

• Lead and supervise daily production activities including welding, cutting, packing, and assembly
• Coordinate job sheets and ensure timely completion of production orders
• Monitor quality control and uphold ABGAL's standards of excellence
• Coach, mentor, and cross-train staff across two shifts to build capability and teamwork
• Foster a safe, respectful, and well-organised workplace aligned with WHS procedures
• Liaise with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure smooth product flow and customer satisfaction
• Oversee warehouse despatch and receiving operations
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate when needed
• Contribute to operational planning, continuous improvement, and ABGAL's long-term growth
• Coordinate equipment maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain service quality

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing supervision, ideally with exposure to LEAN principles
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and engage teams
• Ability to set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and model ABGAL's values
• Ability to read and interpret job sheets and technical specifications
• Forklift licence (advantageous)
• Experience with plastic welding or liner fabrication (or similar industry)
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
• Basic computer literacy for production tracking and reporting
• Thoroughness in checking finished work orders prior to completion
