About the role

We are seeking a new Property Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team at Property Wise Launceston. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties in Launceston and the surrounding suburbs. You will use your expertise in residential leasing and property management to ensure our clients' properties are well-maintained and tenanted.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, including managing tenancies, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Conducting regular property inspections and providing detailed reports to landlords
  • Effectively marketing properties to attract quality tenants and negotiating lease agreements
  • Promptly addressing tenant inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing consistent & proactive service to clients
  • Collaborating with a team of property professionals to deliver exceptional service

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in residential property management, with a proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of properties
  • Strong knowledge of the Tasmanian residential tenancy legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both landlords and tenants
  • Proficient in using property management software and administrative systems
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
  • Relevant real estate qualifications & drivers' licence.
