About the RoleJimmy's Burger & Co in Cairns is on the hunt for 2* experienced & hardworking COOKS* to join our Kitchen Team on a FULL TIME basis. The role is important in delivering on our mission of delivering the most delicious Burgers, sides & Good Times in Cairns. This is your chance to be part of one of Cairns' most loved burger spots and a growing hospitality group.

You'll be working in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen where we pride ourselves on serving quality products and creating a good-time vibe for every guest.

Your role will include:

  • Cooking and preparing burgers, sides, and menu items to Jimmy's high standards.
  • Learning and mastering our kitchen systems and cooking techniques.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.
  • Working closely with the team to keep service smooth and consistent.
  • Upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Bringing energy, teamwork, and positivity to every shift.

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for cooking and a love for great food.
  • 2 years previous line cook or kitchen experience.
  • Ability to work fast, stay organised, and multitask under pressure.
  • Great communication skills and a team-first attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation and consistency.
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and have fun along the way.
  • Knowledge and ability to uphold food safety & hygiene practises

Requirements:

  • Certificate (IV) Commercial Cookery
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in similar role.
